Written at a sixth-grade level, this revised 4" x 8½" 2-sided brochure is a great tool to begin an informed discussion between the physician and the patient! Every patient should be given this brochure prior to undergoing an EDX examination. Written in simple terms, it explains EDX medicine, NCSs, needle EMG, and evoked potentials to help your patient understand the tests you’ll be performing. It also tells the patient to notify you of any items of which you should be aware (i.e., if the patient has a pacemaker) prior to undergoing the examination. The back cover can be personalized with a physician’s name, address, and telephone number. Logos, maps, and other items (in black ink only) may be added for an additional one-time fee.
